I will continue praying for the Lord to do His work in you & your family, while I know there are certain things that you are waiting for-rest assured, trust in the Lord, and know that His timing WILL COME TO PASS! I love that we can trust God and have hope even in seasons of "want." While different, we have our own stories. I was wishing for a dishwasher today as I attacked the usual huge pile of dirty dishes. Yet I was thinking similar thoughts to what you wrote above - I know I will appreciate one (some day) after not having one the past few years. It's the blessing and contentedness that the Lord gives even in hard times that makes life with Him so amazing and worth it all! Amen Tara!
