I’ll tell you if you want. Do you really want to know? Allright.
Where to begin….well, at the start seems a good place. No..I like context. I’ll paint the whole picture: it’ll make for a most interesting and relevant point when I finally get to it:) Ok, before we left for internship we were required by BCOM (Bethany College of Missions) to write up a 3-4 page "Expectations" essay; which is a really good thing to do before internship as most culture shock and friction is due to unfulfilled expectations (for example some intern might have great expectations of leading their whole neighborhood to Christ, and end up doing most of thier internship in a office, feel really stifled, let down, and like a failure…recipe for all kinds of nasty stuff). So, atleast being aware of your expectations can help you deal with culture stress as the expectations do or don’t get met.

"Do you think I’ll go to hell if I wanna kill people for a living?" he asked. My eyes widened, and I choked, ‘"Like an assassin?!" "No…like in the army." he said.
Wow…what a huge question. Most people don’t usually take the time to really think about it. Most people spend their whole lives ignoring the deepest questions we can ask. What am I here for? Where am I going? The answers seem too elusive; everyone seems to have a different answer…how can you KNOW, really KNOW?

Gavin smiled and exclaimed this when he came in to the sunny bedroom to find me holding Eden and Eden holding Kitty (the Towners Siamese kitten we are catsitting this month). If I was a cat I would’ve been purring. What a treat, what a TREAT to have the pleasure of snuggling with this kitten. God knows I’m a cat person (sorry dogs, there’s no contest) and it’s been years since dear Tracey has been adopted into a new loving family…no more furry bundle of purring wonderfulness to curl up on my back during the night…no more sandpaper tongue licking my hands in a exquisitely feline burst of affection…no more little beads of happy drool rolling out a little kitty mouth as I scratch in just the right spot. Going to Bethany College meant sacrificing many things; and being a pet owner was one of them. But this month, I’m the beaming recipient of this gracious gift and I just want to publicly say THANKS GOD! You knew what this meant to me and I’m just dappled…just smattered…just tickled pink to belong to such a Tender, Caring, Personal Father. Yes, He is HOLY, He is the Allmighty God whose Justice is perfect…and He is my Papa. I could talk about this Love all day…when you love someone you can’t help but talk about them
